2024 Gathering Tempranillo
$55.00 / bottle
Our motto for Tempranillo? Let it thrive naturally. Rocky soils, ample sun and dry conditions see this varietal shine. It’s a balance of care and nature’s touch that let Tempranillo reveal its vibrant personality.
DRINKS LIKE: Black olive. Sour cherry. Juicy bright berry. Fine tannins. Silky finish.
LOVE IT FOR: It’s sheer adaptability, a fail-safe, food-friendly wine that will stand up in any pot-luck situation.
FUN FACT: From the spanish word ‘temprano’, meaning ‘little one’, Tempranillo ripens swiftly. It thrives in the hills with the care of its growers, Michele and Paul Edwards!

Season
2024 delivered a cool, even growing season that yielded wines with intense yet delicate flavours and vibrant colours. February and March saw an absence of rainfall, coupled with low crop yields and warmer temperatures, which led to an unusually fast-paced harvest.
Vinification
Single-vineyard fruit is sorted into open top fermenters, where it’s hand-plunged twice daily over 10 days. It’s then basket pressed into new French oak Barriques and matured in our cellar for 8 months.
