The Terrace
Welcome to our relaxed dining space, where you can enjoy our seasonal shared plates, light meals, and a full selection of Lane wines.
The Terrace operates on a ‘walk-in’ basis for groups of under 10 people, and we welcome walk-ins at any time. However, please be aware that our busiest hours are between 12pm and 2pm, especially on weekends.
If you’re interested in a wine tasting experience, explore one of our self-guided tasting paddles or simply unwind on the lawn while enjoying the view with a glass of wine from our dedicated Kiosk Bar.
We’re open Friday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm, with the kitchen closing at 4:00pm.
Summer & School Holiday Hours
Embrace the vibrant atmosphere of The Terrace, proudly one of the most sought-after spots in the Adelaide Hills for casual gatherings, particularly during the summer months and during school holidays.
Please be reminded that The Terrace operates on a walk-in basis for smaller groups of 10 people or less. For larger groups, reservations are essential and can be made by phone at 8388 1250 or via email at welcome@thelane.com.au.
The Terrace is open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm during school holidays and over the summer period, with the kitchen closing at 4pm.
Note that a 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.
Kiosk Bar
Indulge in our dedicated Kiosk Bar, open throughout summer (weather depending). Here, you can enjoy drinks and snacks on the lush lawn and terrace, offering a picturesque view of the vines.

Picnics
Enhance your experience by pre-booking a picnic on our Terrace or nearby lawns, nestled in the shade of our famous pencil pines. Bookings are available for groups of 2 to 8 people, with a maximum of 4 hampers.
Immerse yourself in this shared location overlooking the rolling hills, conveniently situated right next to our tasting room and restaurant. For group bookings of 8 or more people (more than 4 picnic hampers), please contact us directly.
