2024 Gathering Pinot Blanc
$35.00 / bottle
It was love at first sight when it came to Pinot Blanc. From the moment we caught the scent of its beautiful, fragrant and bright aromas, we knew we were head over heels.
DRINKS LIKE: Lemon blossom. Lychee. Green apple. Toasty Vanilla. Crisp acid. Flinty finish.
LOVE IT FOR: Being an inbetweener. Sits somewhere between Riesling and Pinot Gris.
FUN FACT: These grapes were grown by the Haigh Family. Turns out the don’t just produce delicious chocolate!

Season
2024 delivered a cool, even growing season that yielded wines with intense yet delicate flavours and vibrant colours. February and March saw an absence of rainfall, coupled with low crop yields and warmer temperatures, which led to an unusually fast-paced harvest. Perfect autumn weather, allowed us to complete the harvest by mid-April, a full month ahead of the 2023 harvest.
Vinification
Hand-harvested Pinot Blanc grapes were whole-bunch pressed, and the clear juice inoculated with aromatic yeast. Slow, cool fermentation in our cellar naturally going through partial malolactic fermentation. A small batch, aged in six French oak barrels, 14% new, resulted in a refined Pinot Blanc.
