Season

Season

The 2026 Adelaide Hills vintage was defined by a long, slow ripening season. A cool, wet spring delayed flowering and pushed harvest later than usual, allowing fruit to develop exceptional flavour intensity while retaining bright natural acidity. The result is wines of remarkable purity, aromatic complexity and elegance.

Vinification

Vinification

Night-harvested, the Pinot Gris was quickly crushed, pressed and cold settled before a slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel with aromatic yeast. Parcels were vinified separately, allowing careful selection at blending to preserve varietal character, freshness and texture.

This puts on a fruit-filled display and an attractive one at that. It’s a lovely pinot gris to drink. It tastes of nectarine, pear, apple and lychee with subtle spice notes as highlights. It’s clean, refreshing, gently reductive and generous.

- Campbell Mattinson

The lightest of blushes with a scent that raises images of quince, apple, dusty lemon, pear and spice. This is textbook Gris. It’s also textbook cool climate in style with a zingy acid freshness coupled to a smooth middle palate texture that brings an extra layer of umami and interest, guiding the wine to a sustained finish. This is a wine that relies on the quality of its fruit with just a simple cool fermentation in stainless steel. The palate tells the story in ginger and spice, quince paste and baked quince, apple and citrus with a lemon pastille brightness. And, what’s more, it’s all set to be enjoyed right now.

- Wine Pilot - Jeni Port

Lifted notes of pear drops and mandarins make way for a cushioned core. This offers texture and a feeling of lightness on the savoury core, which beckons you back for a second glasses.
