2025 Gathering Pinot Noir
$60.00 / bottle
A passionate pursuit of Pinot Noir. That’s what drove our winemaker, Sam, to six Pinot-producing regions across three continents. It’s also what drew him here to us and the cool climate of the Adelaide HIlls.
DRINKS LIKE: Dark Cherry. Truffle. Roasted beetroot. Hints of game. Spice. Persistent fine tannins.
LOVE IT FOR: It’s delicious Maraschino cherry characters and delectable savouriness.
FUN FACT: Growing and making Pinot is like a problem child. You love it to no end, but it doesn’t always love you back. Full of ‘tude, but oh so delicate and joyful!

Season
2025 was the driest growing season on record in the Adelaide Hills. This led to slightly lower yields and a very early start to the vintage. We avoided severe heat waves, but it was our quintessential cool Adelaide Hills nights that allowed the fruit to develop beautiful flavour and hold onto its natural acidity.
Vinification
Handpicked and fermented by vineyard and clone to maximise blending options, with an overall 20% whole bunch inclusion. A selection of 17 barrels (barriques and puncheons), including 30% new oak, was chosen for the final blend.

Succulent and fresh feeling. Tight, little red berries with doses of clove, cardamom, dark chocolate powder, salted licorice and mint. It feels supple and then builds into a gently tugging tannin pull. Fine lines, cool breeze, perfume and poise, great flavour and intensity, a vibrancy, too. It feels classy and effortless. Great mojo here. Mike Bennie Published 14 July 2025
