Beauty is in the balance when it comes to this Neb. Kuitpo grown, it enjoys the elevation of the Hills and modertain wins of the coast. Once in the winery, the delicate dance continues as we toe the line between colour, flavour and tannin.

Season

2024 delivered a cool, even growing season that yielded wines with intense yet delicate flavours and vibrant colours. February and March saw an absence of rainfall, coupled with low crop yields and warmer temperatures, which led to an unusually fast-paced harvest.

Vinification

Nebbiolo was handpicked in the cool of morning and destemmed into a small open fermenter as whole berries. After a 3-day cold soak with daily plunging, fermentation began using a Barolo-isolated yeast. The wine was then basket pressed, settled in tank, and transferred to just two seasoned barriques for maturation.
