There’s more silverware heading to The Lane, with our 2025 Gathering Gamay taking home the Trophy for Best Other Red Varietal at the 2026 Sydney Royal Wine Show.
It’s a fantastic result for a wine that has quickly become a favourite within our Gathering Series, and a wonderful recognition of the character, craftsmanship and care that goes into every bottle.
The 2025 Gathering Gamay is a vibrant expression of the variety, showcasing the freshness and energy that make Gamay such an exciting wine to drink. It’s a wine that has found plenty of fans among our Gathering Club members, and we’re thrilled to see it recognised on the show stage.
The Trophy adds to an exciting run of accolades for the Gathering Gamay, which was previously awarded 95 points by Winepilot, with wine writer Jeni Port describing it as “a joy to taste, with a light savoury earthiness beautifully offset by the juiciness of the fruit.”
