Season
The 2023 season was long and cool. Steady and consistent ripening matched with low crop loads ensured all varieties ripened well with the benefit of good-sized canopies. Mild, cool nights enhanced flavour development. The resulting wines are richly flavoured and high in quality with incredible aromatics.

"Nettle, lime-leaf, dried herbs and lemon juice aromas, a straightforward, vibrant and fresh aroma, with ripe fruit indications. There's a very smart fruit/acid balance and the fruit has some richer/riper touches, happily avoiding the greener notes. Clean, dry and balanced, with length and charm. Excellent fruit concentration and ripeness. Watch out, Shaw + Smith!"
