Our first foray beyond the Hills. We turned to our friends in McLaren Vale. All sun, salt and old vines with stories to tell. This wine is beautifully aromatic, bright and generous. A fresh chapter in our story.

Season

2025 was the driest growing season on record in the Adelaide Hills. This led to slightly lower yields and a very early start to the vintage. We avoided severe heat waves, but it was our quintessential cool Adelaide Hills nights that allowed the fruit to develop beautiful flavour and hold onto its natural acidity.

Vinification

Handpicked and fermented in two parcels (50% whole bunch, 100% de-stemmed) after a short cold soak. Following extended maceration, the wine was pressed and matured in French oak (one new barrique, two seasoned demi-muids), with all barrels selected for the final blend.
