South Australian Helicopters – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Process

1.1. To book a helicopter flight with South Australian Helicopters for a Adelaide Hills Scenic Flight, customers must provide the following information:

– Full name of all passengers.

– Contact details, including phone number and email address.

– Preferred flight date and time.

– Any special requests or considerations.

1.2. Customers can make bookings direct through our Bookeo booking platform. Bookings are subject to availability.

2. Payment

2.1. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. South Australian Helicopters accepts payment by credit card, debit card, or other payment methods as specified on our website.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

3.1. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made by customers must be communicated to South Australian Helicopters via email at info@southaustralianhelicopters.com.au or directly cancelled through Bookeo at least 72 hours before the scheduled flight time.

3.2. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled flight time incur a 50% cancellation fee.

3.2. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled flight time are non-refundable.

3.3. Rescheduling requests within 72 hours of the scheduled flight time are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

4. Weight and Passenger Limitations

4.1. All passengers must adhere to weight restrictions as specified by South Australian Helicopters. The maximum seat weight limit on the Robinson R44 is 270kg. Failure to comply may result in refusal of service without a refund.

4.2. A minimum of 2 passengers or the equivalent cost is required to confirm a tour booking.

5. Weather and Safety

5.1. Helicopter flights are subject to weather conditions and safety considerations. South Australian Helicopters reserves the right to cancel or reschedule flights if weather conditions or safety concerns arise. In such cases, customers will be offered an alternative flight time or a full refund.

6. Health and Medical Considerations

6.1. Passengers are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness to participate in a helicopter flight. Any medical conditions, disabilities, or special requirements must be disclosed to South Australian Helicopters prior to booking.

7. Responsibility

7.1. South Australian Helicopters is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death resulting from a customer’s negligence, disregard of safety instructions, or failure to comply with these terms and conditions.

8. Itinerary, arrival and personal items

8.1. Whilst it is our intention to deliver the itinerary of your choice, unforeseen circumstances such as the nature of the terrain, unseasonable weather, national park area closures and so on, travelling conditions may be affected and therefore, make it necessary to alter touring with little or no notice.

8.2. Passengers must arrive at the departure point 10 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

8.3. All care is taken but no liability is accepted for damage to personal items. For lost property, please contact the office you departed your flight.

9. Compliance with Regulations

9.1. Passengers must adhere to all regulations and safety instructions provided by South Australian Helicopters and its staff.

9.2. South Australian Helicopters reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger for safety, operational, or other reasons deemed appropriate by our staff.

10. Photography and Videos

10.1. South Australian Helicopters may capture photographs and videos during flights for promotional purposes. Passengers consent to the use of their likeness in such materials unless otherwise specified in writing.

11. Privacy Policy

11.1. We require customer information for all reservations that we accept, including full passenger name, passenger weight, contact telephone number, and email address. Passenger information will be retained by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy which may be viewed on our Privacy Policy page on our website. We require passenger contact information to allow us to make contact with passengers in the event of occurrences including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, on the rare occasion that a tour time may be rescheduled, or in the event that personal property has been left behind after a tour.

12. Governing Law

12.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia.
