A vibrant Pinot Noir Shiraz blend with lifted aromas of bramble fruit, blackberry and spice. The palate is bright and juicy with layers of raspberry, plum and red currant, framed by silky tannins and fresh acidity.

Season

Season

2025 was the driest growing season on record in the Adelaide Hills. This led to slightly lower yields and a very early start to the vintage. We avoided severe heat waves, but it was our quintessential cool Adelaide Hills nights that allowed the fruit to develop beautiful flavour and hold onto its natural acidity.

Vinification

Vinification

Pinot Noir and Shiraz were vinified separately, with mostly de-stemmed ferments and 5% whole bunch for subtle complexity. Cool, gentle fermentations and careful basket pressing were followed by eight months in a mix of tank and older oak to preserve freshness before blending.

"Deep ruby with purple tints. Fragrant with plum, violets, and anise spice aromatics. Medium weight with a supple glide to the fine tannins that accentuates the slippery nature here. Dark fruits are well layered amongst tobacco leaf and boudin noir tones. A very appealing cool climate style that will work well alongside a meal"

- Stuart Knox, The Real Review 2022
