Follow The Lane walking map and find your private picnic table at one of seven picturesque locations. Enjoy a seasonal chef-made picnic hamper nestled amongst the ancient gum trees and rolling vineyards of our estate.

2024 SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Our Estate Picnics are available 7 days during South Australian school holidays as below:
- Autumn holidays Saturday 13 April – Sunday 28 April.
- Winter holidays Saturday 6 July – Sunday 21 July.
- Spring holidays Saturday 28 September – Sunday 13 October.
- Summer holidays Saturday 14 December – Monday 27 Jan 2025.
*(The Estate is closed Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day )
Private Picnic Locations
Make the most of our open spaces. Follow The Lane walking map and find your private picnic table nestled among the ancient gums and vineyards.
Five private locations to choose from – each with a minimum of 2 and up to 8 guests.
Maximum of 4 Hampers per reservation.

COTTAGE
Enjoy a tranquil afternoon at the cottage, nestled between the paddocks and vineyard with views down to the Boatshed.
Just a short 10 minute walk from The Lane’s restaurant & tasting room. Car park and toilet available at this location.
THE TRAIL
Set on a grassy knoll, tucked away between the vines. A beautiful spot just a short 6 minute walk from The Lane’s restaurant and tasting room.
THE OLD GATE
Enjoy sweeping views across the vineyards and surrounding Mount Lofty Vineyards, just a short 3 minute walk from The Lane’s restaurant and tasting room.
GUM TREE 1

Picnic at the Pines
Picnic on our Terrace or nearby lawns, in the shade of our famous pencil pines.
Bookings available for groups of 2 – 8 people (maximum of 4 hampers)
Enjoy this shared location overlooking the rolling hills – right next to our tasting room and restaurant.

Boatshed
Set along the waters’ edge, Boatshed picnics can be booked for a minimum of 2 – maximum of 8 people per reservation.
The Boatshed is a shared location where each group has their own individual picnic table.
