Every year Australian Good Food & Travel Guides Chefs Hats are awarded to discerning Chefs around Australia. These awards are the result of careful deliberation. CHEF JAMES BRINKLOW

James Brinklow (known as Jimmy) joined The Lane Vineyard in 2009, following an impressive start to his young Chef career, working in some of Adelaide’s most outstanding restaurants including the Mona Lisa and Auge restaurant. Upon joining The Lane, Jimmy was able to forge an innovative and contemporary path, championing local regional produce alongside estate grown premium wines, with the mantra of pursuing elegance in simplicity.

Over the years, Jimmy has evolved the dining concept introducing a range of menus, with the inclusion of a 'Chef's Table,' for bespoke dining experiences, to more casual outdoor dining, for the launch of The Lane's new outdoor terrace. An exciting new addition to the Kitchen, will be James' new vegetable garden, which will allow him and his team to work with the very freshest of ingredients.

Today, The Lane remains one of South Australia’s destination restaurants, having steadily evolved and refined it's experience to be recognized in the 10 Best Regional Restaurants in South Australia (2018 Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide) .
