We are delighted to have retained our one star rating and be recognised with a wine glass in the recently released 2018 Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide, putting us in the number 7 spot for regional dining experiences in South Australia.

GT had the below to say following their latest visit:
“The Lane Vineyard’s welcoming staff are proud of their showstopping Adelaide Hills views. Our entrée is an even prettier landscape: folds of ocean trout dotted with marinated roe and threaded with tiny marigolds, violets and cornflowers, while dill oil is pooled in a peak of the whitest crème fraiche. Main courses aren’t hard on the eyes either. Char-grilled duck is dappled with beetroot hues, along with red basil, blackberries from the property and buttons of caramelised yoghurt. Miso-slathered tender Hereford short rib wears a tiny yellow flag of zucchini flower. Desserts involve indulgent layering: apricot parfait on shortbread with buds of dark chocolate mousse and tiny poached apricot segments. Floor manager Hugh Earlam knows chef James Brinklow’s menu backwards, and charms everyone who braves the gravel roads leading to the restaurant. No wonder it’s the flagship destination for the Adelaide Hills.”
