Created from the highest quality parcels of fruit within our vineyard, they are determined by their age, purity, depth and spectrum of flavours. Very low yields provide fruit concentration and the structural foundation ofthese wines. Each variety is hand picked, handled gently in the wineryand aged in the finest quality French Oak. The resulting style is neither Australian nor European, rather the best of both worlds. Occasion wines, they are complex, structured and fine.
The Lane Vineyard Block Series show true varietal character and the influence of the terroir of The Lane Vineyard. The block numbers indicate the patch within the vineyard where the fruit is grown, as do the “Google Earth” coordinates on each label. Minimum intervention inthe winemaking allows the vineyard to do the talking. The Block Seriesare stylish, fresh, fruit driven wines with a true sense of place.
