Meet the talented youngster among South Australia’s wine regions. Vineyards only began to interfinger orchard and market-gardening plots in the late 1970’s, and at this stage it was very much a quest for a cool-climate, sparkling wine alternative to the sultry, Arabian charms of Barossa and McLaren Vale.
What almost three decades of work in the Adelaide Hills has revealed is a steadily unfolding horizon of possibilities; many believe that the movie has barely rolled its opening credits yet.
