At The Lane Vineyard we believe wine labels should be authentic, revealing something succinct and honest about the identity of where that wine came from, a genuine sense of place, the grain of truth.
So when we describe our picturesque vineyard and winery at Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills we are very specific about what is printed on the label. You won’t find your usual back label inscription, we use geographical coordinates.
35° 0' 50.69"S - 138° 50' 11.50"E
If you put these coordinates into Google Earth you will see the block in our vineyard where the fruit for that particular Lane Vineyard wine is grown and picked, right in the heart of our Hahndorf property. This is our take on capturing a true sense of place!
